Heart Problems, Why So Important?


We can say that the most important of our organs is the heart. This is the “motor” that supports life in us.

Taking care of your heart is easier than you possibly think.

This symptom must be paid attention, even if it appeared relatively recently. It can degrade the quality of both your sleep and your partner’s sleep.

4. Swelling of the feet and feet   

Do you consume a lot of salt? Did you go much in the last days? In either case, the legs and feet may become somewhat swollen, but in a few days (if these factors no longer function) they return to their normal state.

But if the legs and feet swell constantly, this may be a symptom of fluid retention caused by heart failure or deterioration of the arteries.

5. Shortness of breath  

If we constantly feel that we do not have enough air, we  experience shortness of breath and feel tired, it’s abnormal.

In this situation, you need to analyze your habits and your activity. If you have changed your habits and your physical activity has increased, the feeling of lack of air can be natural.

6. Sexual problems 

One of the first signs of heart disease can be the emergence of problems with sexual activity,  especially if a person is between 40 and 50 years old.

If you have any other diseases or your age exceeds 50 years, you need to seek advice from a doctor, whom you trust.

It will help to find out whether the problems with sex life are related to heart disease or the matter is in another.

7. Broken Heart Syndrome 

This syndrome (it is also called “takotsubo cardiomyopathy”) received this name because it can be caused by emotional stress, for example, the death of a loved one.

With him, a person experiences the same pain as with a heart attack, but this is a temporary disorder of health, which often happens in very healthy people.

This syndrome does not have such “harbingers” as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, malnutrition or sedentary lifestyle.

The cause of the syndrome of a broken heart is an increase in the content in the blood of catecholamines (mainly adrenaline).

This increase leads to high anxiety and stress. In this case, the body begins to produce substances that contribute to its return to normal.

It is necessary and a certain treatment. Luckily, in 90% of cases of this syndrome the functions of the heart are completely restored.

How to keep the heart healthy: general recommendations 

  • Try to lead a healthy lifestyle, that is, eat right, maintain a normal level of physical activity and control your emotions.
  • If you notice a strange symptom, do not hesitate to contact a specialist. Our heart usually “signals” us that it has “problems”. In no event can these signals be ignored.
  • Write down the symptoms that you notice regularly. This will help doctors quickly diagnose.

Sometimes, in order to reveal the pathology of the heart, it is enough to have one blood test.
